Welcome to Learning Forward Ohio! All over the state of Ohio, educators seek collaboration from one another.  They look for ways to learn about curriculum, best practice in technology, content knowledge of Ohio’s Learning Standards, and the changing landscape of student engagement.  Our organization specializes in the one thing that is the vehicle for collaboration amongst all levels and contents–professional learning.

We know how important educator choice is for professional learning.

We know the best professional learning is sustained through job-embedded support systems.

We know professional learning directly impacts the learning of students!  

Learning Forward Ohio supports educators in designing, implementing, and engaging in highly effective professional learning every day so every student achieves.  We invite you to join us each summer at our June Instructional Leadership Conference where we model professional learning based on Ohio’s Professional Development Standards. Our conference menu offers three strands each year: Professional Learning Structures & Designs,  Aligning Instruction & Assessment to Ohio’s Learning Standards, and Coaching & Teacher Leadership, each a component of  Learning Forward’s priorities.  Through our website resource section, you can visit past conference session grids.

Throughout the year, we will continue our mission by connecting with other professional learning organizations, networking amongst districts to share professional learning practices, and supporting districts who are embarking on new professional learning models such as coaching.  Should you be interested in joining us on this journey, visit our membership page or contact any board member!
